Roger Jameson
Roger Jameson is a Director of Housing Information Solutions, an independent consultancy offering specialist advice and guidance to social housing organisations in the review, procurement and implementation of information systems.
He is a fully qualified Housing Manager, holding a professional qualification in housing management. He has 35 years’ experience working both as a housing practitioner and in providing software consultancy services and products to the social housing sectors in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and the Netherlands. This rich blend of experience has enabled him to develop an in-depth understanding of information systems and their implications on processes; strategy and performance reporting.
He is a Fellow of the UK Chartered Institute of Housing (FCIH); a Member of the Australasian Housing Institute (MAHI) and a Member of the British Computer Society (MBCS). He has been certified as a Chartered Information Technology Professional by both the British and New Zealand Computer Societies.
He served as a Board Director of the Australasian Housing Institute from 2005-2009 (also holding the position of Chair of the AHI New Zealand Branch from 2004-2009) and St. George Community Housing from 1998 – 1999. He has written various articles in the UK on social housing and information systems and has contributed to publications produced by the UK Chartered Institute of Housing; the Housing Corporation and the Association of District Councils.
In the past 3 years, Roger has successfully managed system procurement and implementation projects for leading Community Housing Providers in New South Wales and Victoria, as well as undertaking diverse consultancy assignments in system and business process reviews in New South Wales, ACT and South Australia.
