Housing Action Network collaborates with clients to help transform the lives of disadvantaged people and communities
The Housing Action Network was founded by Tony Gilmour in 2012 as a collaboration between people with a passion for making a difference to society. We help our clients deliver high quality affordable housing and support services through:
Consultancy: giving advice to organisations providing affordable housing and human services
Contracting: providing executive placements when organisations need a temporary senior employee for typically between one week and three months
Each assignment is tailored specifically to a client's needs, and will involve people or organisations in the Network. There is always a single project manager from the Network, and a clearly established set of outcomes from the start.
We have provided services in each Australian State and Territory, and in New Zealand and Britain. Our main office is in Kiama, though during the COVID-19 pandemic our Associates are operating remotely.
John Stott was appointed Project Director in July 2018, with responsibility for coordinating the network and full time project delivery.
Tony is now Housing Action Network's President, undertaking a smaller number of key projects to allow time for housing research and education, publishing, philanthropy and non-executive board roles.
